The gnome stained glass pattern is pretty straightforward - where it gets fun is when you find a 20mmx30mm cabochon (or similar size) and figure out how that's going to work into the colors you've chosen! In the photos you see in the listing, I've chosen a rose quartz. But I've used opalite, picture jasper, and amethyst in the past - these are great sellers at shows I've done. Pattern includes instructions on how to layer the nose on to the piece. You could also use carnelian, clear quartz, really anything you like.

I bought this for my friends who are avid hikers. I love the colors and the artistic interpretation of nature. They love it and are in the process of putting it together right now. It’s a great way to wind down with a glass of wine and conversation at the end of the day.
